The Bosquets estate is one of Gigondas’ “historic estates”. In 1376, notary registers indicate the existence of “vinae culta” at a place called “Les Bosquets”. Today, Julien Brechet is at the head of the estate, a winemaker for whom the notion of the parcel is essential.

The 26 ha of AOC Gigondas are laid out in a circular pattern around the various localities. Its uniqueness lies not so much in its geographical unity, but in its geological and micro-climatic diversity.
Grenache noir dominates the grape varieties planted, accounting for almost 70% of the vineyard, complemented by Syrah (20%), Mourvèdre (8%) and Cinsault (2%).

The average age of the vines now exceeds 50 years, with many old vines. The entire vineyard is farmed organically and follows the precepts of Biodynamics. Each plot of Gigondas is vinified separately!
