Looking closely at the 2016 vintage

The annual tastings have begun: from September to November 2017 a succession of overseas journalists came to Gigondas to taste the 2016 vintage, including Jeb Dunnuck (jebdunnuck.com), Joe Czerwinski (robertparker.com), Richard Hemming (jancisrobinson.com), Matt Walls (decanter.com) and John Livingstone-Learmouth (drinkrhone.com).

Thanks to its excellent ageing potential, the 2016 vintage looks set to go down in history as one of the very best from Gigondas.
