Our domain, which is a property of the family since 1709, is set on a Gallo-Roman place, at the border of the ancient Roman Way where it benefits from a privileged situation.
Just like the other 10 generations which preceded us, and thanks to their experience, we make everything that is possible for Saint Gayan to remain one of the finest domaines of the Gigondas estate.
Our major advantage is the old average age of our vineyard (55 years), which means that we have a good proportion of hundred year old vines. Every year, the knowledge we have of our soil allows us to make strong and colourful wines, whose style is recognizable vintage after vintage. Since 1969, we got 23 awards at the Concours Général Agricole of Paris for our Gigondas only, among which 10 first prizes.
Our Saint Gayan wines, which are to be held, evolve favourably between 5 and 10 years and a good deal more for some vintages.
