In its subtlety and elegance, Gigondas has a feminine feel.

In our Gigondas, Grenache is well present, but with the addition of the seductive strength of Syrah and some Mourvèdre to lift it up. All grapes coming from selected low-yield unstressed vineyards.

We carry out long macerations to bring the best out of the grapes, always striving towards harmony.

After malolactic fermentation, the various grapes are blended. Ageing takes place at 700-meter high in the area of Roquefort, in our 12th century stone cellars. New oak is avoided in order to preserve the delicacy of the Grenache variety.

On the palate, a silk and velvet feel gives a wine full of personality, taking over your senses. Soft tannins and voluptuous fruit ending in notes of red fruit jam and vanilla.

Cheli and Jérôme Busato founded their company, Maison Rouge, in 2002.

Both have a long experience in the wine trade. They spent ten years in the vineyards of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Spain.

In 2001, they decided to set up their company, Maison Rouge, in Bedarrides, and to dedicate themselves to the production of top quality Rhône Valley wines.
