The Claw of elegance of the Coasts of the Rhone

Since 1935, the S.C.A. The Vine growers of Gravillas accomodates a score of producing Wine growers of Gigondas. The latter are unceasingly with the research of balance between production and maintains of our privileged environment.Impassioned Vine growers who like their Village, the Life, the Vine, the Wine, long History of generations, Traditions well in their time.

 

Our vintages AOC Gigondas are regularly preceded in the professional contests, as it was the case for the Year 2006 (the last presented) with a Medal of Gold and one of Money to the Orange Contest as well as a Money Medal to the Contest of Mâcon.

    Red vintage AOC Gigondas “Gravillas” 2006:

    Medal of Gold Fair to the Orange Wines 2007

    Color of a very dark red, constant brilliance.

    Spice and ripe fruit nose.

    Stop of a very beautiful density, beautiful tannins, rich savours, beautiful youth.

    To keep between 3 and 5 years.

    To be useful confined.

    Red meats and game and vegetables of winter. 

     

     Red vintage AOC Gigondas “Soil and Traditions” 2003:

    Grapes resulting from a selection of old vines.

    Wine of a dark red, supported, shining.

    The nose is scrubland (thyme, bay-tree, sage).

    Very beautiful balance stops some with much roundness and a very tight tannic structure already melted with the wine. Potential of breeding: five to eight years.

    We advise it with game, the meats of festivals and certain refined cheeses. 

     

    Cuvée AOC Gigondas Rouge “High Was of Oak” 2001: It is a beautiful purplished red dress which accomodates the taster by his brilliant reflections.

    The intense nose pleasant and flattering, is very directed towards the red fruits and spices.

    In mouth the beautiful attack is harmonized around red spice and fruit notes well balanced.

    The molten tannins take part in a general environment of plenitude which encourages with the division.

    Will accompany red and white meats roasted or out of sauce, vegetables of season and cheeses refined.

     The wood breeding one year old brings an overall balance all in nuances
