Founded in 1936, in Gigondas, in the heart of the Rhone Valley, the Gabriel Meffre winery creates AOC and varietal wines from the most renowned French wine regions. It is now a Group with an international dimension, which expertise covers all the wine activities.

A know-how of Producer
Established in Gigondas, one of the most popular appellation of the Rhone Valley, the Gabriel Meffre winery has a real know how as a producer through its vineyards : the Domaine de Longue Toque in Gigondas (27ha) and the Château Grand Escalion (43ha).

Expertise in the wine elaboration
Thanks to its historical activity as "Négociant Eleveur", the Gabriel Meffre winery is well known for the quality of its wine supplies as well as for its know how in wine production and bottling. Besides, Gabriel Meffre was one of the first in the Rhone Valley to establish partnerships with the winegrowers, some still existing for more than 20 years.

Quality as a state of mind
Since the beginning of the 90's, Gabriel Meffre has been involved in the development of its quality standards. Today, Gabriel Meffre is certified "ISO 9001" and has acquired the highest levels of certification BRC and IFS. Moreover, we manage our domains under the "sustainable agriculture" principles.

Wines with real success stories
Gabriel Meffre is one of the first Négociant who developed brands for wines and now sells its products in more than 50 countries, as for example LAURUS, emblematic range of AOC, among which the Gigondas Laurus wins regularly medals from the best international wine challenges.
