Covering about 107 acres, 25% of the vineyard is located on slopes and the other 75% on plains of Gigondas.

We find four main vines of the naming there. This double soil allows Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault to express themselves generously in hillsides and Mourvèdre to find its ground of preference on the tray(plateau) of Scrubland. The average of age of the vineyard is of around thirty years, among which some grenaches were planted in 1946. On the new plantations the driving in tumblers is immortalized for a part of grenaches and the globality of mourvèdres. 

The alliance of a reasoned culture of vines and traditional wine making in the wine storehouses of the Château Raspail gives birth to a dense and delicate wine with intense aromas of red fruits. It accompanies harmoniously red meat and game.
