Le Bois des Mèges is located in Violès, at the foot of the famous Dentelles de Montmirail and not so far from Gigondas.

I have been working a small plot of Gigondas lined with olive trees for over 25 years.

Its poor soil has prouved to fit with those plantation which were formely maintained by my ancestors.

The Gigondas I make is a blend of Grenache and Syrah,

The wine making is traditional – Some of my wine is aged in oak barrel but I also used concrete tank.

One year later once the wine got mature enough and the tanins become round. The blending starts and then the bottling.

The wine gets a more complex bouquet while the period of wine aging. Tanins become silky and elegant.
